On parle alors de fr\u00e9quences sup\u00e9rieures \u00e0 20 000 Hz. La distance entre deux pics est la distance entre deux structures diff\u00e9rentes, et la hauteur du pic est \u00e9gale \u00e0 l&rsquo;intensit\u00e9 de l&rsquo;onde r\u00e9fl\u00e9chie.<br\/><strong><br\/>Mode B (luminosit\u00e9)<\/strong><br\/><br\/>Au lieu de pointes, on obtient maintenant une s\u00e9quence de points dont l&rsquo;intensit\u00e9 varie. Il s&rsquo;agit toujours de la distance entre diff\u00e9rents points, mais l&rsquo;intensit\u00e9 de l&rsquo;onde r\u00e9fl\u00e9chie d\u00e9termine la couleur du point. <br\/>Plus l&rsquo;\u00e9cho est intense, plus il appara\u00eet blanc. On obtient ainsi une image bidimensionnelle.
